Gov. Stein outlines education priorities to crowd of educators, policymakers

“If we truly believe that kids are the future of this state, then we have to make the job of educating them more attractive,” said Gov. Josh Stein at BEST NC’s annual Education Innovation Lab meeting. He warned of a fiscal cliff in the coming years would result in education funding cuts.
