Reader. Writer. Nature Lover. Southerner. Go Deacs Cheerer.
Molly Steur is a reporter at EducationNC. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where she attended public school. She graduated from Wake Forest University with degrees in History and Politics & International Affairs and a minor in Interdisciplinary Writing. She worked for the Old Gold & Black and The Magnolia as both a writer and editor where she fell in love with the intersection of public history and journalism.
In line with EdNC’s philosophy, Molly believes that journalism is the process of writing history. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with friends and family, going on walks, reading a lot, finding the best sunset spots, and making crafts.
