Marlow Artis is the Creator and Chief Content Purveyor for Tar Heel Teachers, which encompasses a blog, an educational panel talk show, & the new weekly videocast: Tar Heel Teachers at Home. He served for two and a half years as the Academic Support Specialist with Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools’ prestigious Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate Program. He was a NC Teacher Voice Fellow with the Hope Street Group from 2016 until 2018. He is enjoying a new career challenge as the Upward Bound Director for Sampson County Schools where he works diligently to prepare students for the collegiate level.
