Analisa Sorrells
Analisa Sorrells is a Master in Public Policy candidate at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is a recipient of the William A. Starr Innovations fellowship for students working to promote innovative solutions and imaginative thinking as leaders in journalism and public service. Her reporting and research focuses on school nutrition programs.
Previously, Analisa was the chief of staff and associate director of policy for EducationNC. She grew up in Windermere, Florida where she attended the local public elementary, middle, and high school.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in public policy and a minor in reporting from the UNC Hussman School of Media and Journalism. Analisa previously worked with EducationNC as a Jamie Kirk Hahn Foundation fellow.
