The following survey was designed by four ninth-grades from the STEM Early College in Greensboro, NC.
We launched our community college coverage earlier this year. At the end of August, we toured all 58 community colleges and launched our Awake58 newsletter. We want your feedback on how we're doing so far.
Connecting students to careers can be an essential task of our education system, but how do we best do this in North Carolina? Weigh in on your experience and offer suggestions on how business and education can partner together to improve a student’s awareness of and preparation for 21st century careers. Your feedback will be used by Hope Street Group, the North Carolina Business Committee for Education, and other local and state decision-makers to explore our support for career pathways across K-12 and into our community colleges.

Hello! EdNC is launching a newsletter focused on postsecondary education in North Carolina with an emphasis around our community colleges at the end of August. We hope to create a newsletter that is essential reading for those who care about our community colleges, our students, and the future of our state. This June 19th, or Juneteenth, marks the 153rd year of celebrations commemorating the abolition of slavery in the United States and is considered a state or ceremonial holiday in 45 states (including North Carolina). This got us wondering: Did you ever learn about Juneteenth?
