In 2013, a state law went into effect that regulates when schools start and end. The law requires that schools must have a start date no earlier than the Monday closest to August 26 and an end date no later than the Friday closest to June 11. This week, the issue has resurfaced because 12 North Carolina schools have violated the state law by starting already starting their school years. We want your input.
