Tar Heel Teachers on the Road is an educational travel series that is composed of stories of interest from schools throughout North Carolina, education conference highlights, and one-on-one interviews with notable North Carolinians including students, teachers, principals, superintendents, politicians, and other newsmakers.

In this episode, Marlow Artis visits Scotland County Schools for a one-on-one conversation with Takeda LeGrand about her career and first year as superintendent.
