Perspective | Tar Heel Teachers at Home: UNC-TV, DPI at-home learning during COVID-19

Tar Heel Teachers at Home is a weekly videocast focused on engaging North Carolinians in conversations about education. Each week, a panel of educators interview a guest(s).

In this videocast, the Tar Heel Teachers discuss the UNC-TV and Department of Public Instruction (DPI) at-home learning partnership designed to provide families with another learning avenue during COVID-19.

Joining the conversation are Dr. Angie Mullennix (Director of Innovation & Strategy/Interim Director of K-12 Standards, Curriculum, & Instruction at NCDPI), Dr. Lori Carlin (Section Chief for Social Studies & Arts Education at NCDPI), Mariah Morris (2019 Burroughs Wellcome Fund NC Teacher of the Year), and Joy Potts (Director of Children’s Media & Education Services at UNC-TV).
