EducationNC is hosting a screening of the short film series ‘Equity Meets Education’ on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the Full Frame Theater at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham at 6 PM. The films, which explore racial equity in North Carolina schools through the experiences of some of the state’s black male leaders, will be followed by a discussion with one of the film subjects, 2014-15 NC Teacher of the Year and educational consultant James Ford, as well as Student U Executive Director Alexandra Zagbayou and Village of Wisdom Executive Director William Jackson.

A reception follows the screening to continue the discussion. Come, listen, and join in a conversation about ways our educational system might meet the diverse needs of students.
