New from EdNC
The Editor’s Notes
As we near the end of the school year, we are reflecting on all that has happened in 2025-26. From the 2026 primaries, updates at the General Assembly, changes to the State Health Plan, and the May 1 teacher’s march in Raleigh, we have been busy bringing you the news you need to stay engaged with the issues impacting public education today.
Our coverage is free, but we can’t do it without your help. That’s why we are asking you to support EdNC and our mission to produce coverage that helps tell the stories of our public schools and expands educational opportunities for all students in North Carolina.
- $5 helps our reporters buy a cup of coffee to get you the latest news when it happens.
