The House K-12 education committee meets today at 2 p.m., and is scheduled to discuss remote instruction for “excess emergencies,” the U.S. Department of Education, and more.
The North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation recently launched Readers Are Built, a statewide early literacy campaign designed to help families, caregivers, and communities support young children’s reading development. The campaign, available at ReadersAreBuilt.org, focuses on five simple ways adults can help build early literacy skills: Read, Talk, Sing, Play, and Smart Screen Time. The website includes practical tools, resources, activity ideas, and digital learning supports. Please share with your networks!
