kayce smith is a coordinator and coach for multi-tiered systems of academic and behavior supports at the best middle school in southeastern North Carolina and has her doctorate of educational leadership in curriculum and instruction from UNC-Wilmington. She is co-founder of the Educational Innovation Network, NC, which has a mission to create an educational culture in North Carolina pre-K-12 public schools that prioritizes innovation. She is humbled to serve on her school district’s equity, diversity, and inclusion board committee and has a passion for supporting adults and schools in operationalizing and synonymizing the terms “equity” and “student voice.”
