Kayce Smith spends her days with phenomenal students and colleagues at South Brunswick High School and her nights in the books as a doctoral student of educational leadership at UNC-Wilmington. She considers herself an advocate for all students, especially the historically marginalized. Smith also believes that teachers’ professional voices can lead educational transformation if authentically utilized at all levels of decision-making. She finds herself happiest when spending quality time with family and friends, listening to live music, and traveling.
