Manufacturers are always looking for ways to increase output and reduce defects.
Lean Six Sigma is a manufacturing philosophy that aims to do just that, beginning with the hard-working men and women on the assembly line. It’s being taught to students enrolled in Pitt Community College’s Project Skill-Up, a fast-track manufacturing program designed to prepare students for positions in the area.
