New report out on Colleges of Education

The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education just released Colleges of Education:
A National Portrait. Here is the website, and here is the executive summary. “This report attempts to provide a comprehensive picture of colleges of education: the work that they do, the people who do that work, and the students they serve. Because teacher preparation is so important, these pages describe key trends and challenges in meeting the nation’s need for highly skilled teachers.”
