According to the Insider, “Legislation that would bring the North Carolina High School Athletic Association under tighter control of the N.C. State Board of Education passed the Senate on Wednesday, 28-14, following several weeks of back-and-forth between the association’s leadership and GOP lawmakers who sponsored the bill.”
