As we remember 9/11, if you haven’t read it, please take the time to read Inez Rubistello’s beautiful book, “Life after Windows.”

This essay published in CC Daily today, “What we owe a generation that doesn’t remember 9/11,” reminds us:

“Education, at its heart, is an exchange between generations. A student enters a classroom carrying the hopes of a family. A professor shares knowledge shaped by years of experience. An alum returns to tell a student what was possible. A graduate leaves campus to become a nurse, teacher, engineer, healthcare professional, business owner, public servant or community leader. Generations meet on college campuses every day.”
