Next week, according to the Insider, it looks like the legislature will convene on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The N.C. State Board of Education will be meeting on Wednesday and Thursday. And we are still expecting a decision from the Governor about schools reopening in the fall.

Our colleagues at NC Child are holding a virtual conference, “2020 Kids: Building Racial Equity in Child Advocacy.” Here is more information.

If you are looking for a resource to guide your learning and leadership during this time, I suggest these readings from the Aspen Institute.

EdDaily will be back in your inbox on Monday, July 13. Thank you for reading — and for caring so deeply about our students, our state, and our future. Be well, y’all!
