New from EdNC
The Editor’s Notes
In the budget the legislature released this week, a provision is included funding a weighted student funding formula working group. This morning, Sen. Mike Lee weighs in on how that ed reform might unfold in the coming months. “North Carolina is approaching the most important decision it has made about public school funding in a generation,” he writes.
Also in this edition of EdDaily is my look at the special appropriations included in the budget. For advocates, this is your first look at who asked for what. As Sen. Kevin Corbin says, “I can promise you what you won’t get. You won’t get things you don’t ask for.”
