There is big news in the Rowan-Salisbury Schools, NC’s renewal school district. Dr. Tony Watlington, the chief of schools in Guilford County Schools, has been named the new superintendent. “Along with our strong team, Dr. Watlington will press us to continue to use our Renewal status for
innovative and groundbreaking education,” says Kevin Jones, school board chair.
The State Board of Community Colleges is meeting today and tomorrow. Word is they will be interviewing the short list of candidates for president. Here is more information.
