EdNC’s leadership team is spending the week in Haywood County. Yesterday we visited Mark Sorrells general store for breakfast — yes, he is from Haywood County. And we ended the evening in Sylva with Yona Wade, learning more about the Qualla Boundary. Tonight we are attending an event at A-B Tech, and tomorrow night we will be at “The Game.” It is a real privilege to get to know better and better the communities our public schools and community colleges serve.
