Join EducationNC for a community conversation about student chronic absenteeism at the Ray Recreation Center in Tarboro on Monday, May 14th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. A catered dinner from La Rancherita will be provided.

This is a follow-up conversation from our first dinner about student chronic absenteeism. At the first dinner, EdNC staff facilitated a conversation about the reasons students are missing school and the impact of those absences.

This time, we will discuss what works in reducing chronic absenteeism and brainstorm ideas for how your community can work together to reduce student absences. We hope to see you on the 14th!

What: Dinner and discussion about ways the community can reduce student absences.

When: May 14th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
