Kim Morrison

Dr. Kim Morrison is superintendent-in-residence for The Innovation Project, where she leads a statewide initiative to expand teacher registered apprenticeship programs, and is a former superintendent of Mount Airy City Schools. She has secured over $55 million in grants for public schools and led national-award-winning programs. A former President of Magnet Schools of America, and current vice-chair of Global NC, she is a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina's highest civilian honor. She co-authored Courageous Leadership: It's Not What You Think with Dr. Barbara Zwadyk.
