Jan Knox

Jan Hebert Knox is a doctoral student in community college leadership at NC State University, studying philanthropy, student success, and the future of North Carolina’s community colleges. Knox serves as vice president for college advancement and public information officer at Guilford Technical Community College, where she leads marketing, communications, fundraising, and student recruitment efforts. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit leadership, she is passionate about expanding opportunity through scholarships, guided pathways, and community partnerships that help students achieve their goals.
