Derek Uejo is the community alignment specialist for Family Connects Durham, a program of the Center for Child & Family Health, a nonprofit based in Durham, N.C. Uejo also facilitates the Community Advisory Board for Family Connects Durham, Healthy Families Durham, and the Diaper Bank of North Carolina. A passionate coalitions builder, systems thinker, and policy idealist, Uejo holds a B.A. in Political Science from Biola University and the Torrey Honors College, and an M.Div. from Duke Divinity School.
