Ben Owens

Ben Owens worked as an engineer for 20 years before becoming a STEM teacher for 11 years at Tri-County Early College High School in Murphy, North Carolina. He left the classroom in 2018 to form the non-profit, Open Way Learning, which works to help schools create the cultural conditions for localized, learner-centered innovation. He is also the co-author of the book “Open Up, Education!”
