The Editor’s Notes
The New York Times says President Trump’s order to close the federal department of education and the anticipated legislation in Congress required to do so “sets the stage for a seismic political and legal battle over the federal government’s role in the nation’s schools.” Buckle up.
The rumors are swirling again about Leandro. Against the backdrop of power being returned to states on education as per Trump’s order yesterday, if in fact the decision is handed down today, it may have even more import. We will see. Stay tuned.
