In this episode, the Tar Heel Teachers chat with Mark Byrd about his selection as the 2021-2022 Northwest Regional Superintendent of the Year. Byrd has been the superintendent of Wilkes County Schools since 2016. He is the eighth superintendent of Wilkes County Schools since 1899.
