Our 2 Million by 2030 goal is critically important to the economic success of North Carolina, but the need to support this goal will continue. As we look ahead to what lies beyond 2030, setting the right groundwork is imperative to ensure future success. Thanks to the generous support of The Belk Foundation, myFutureNC commissioned three early childhood briefs to address the critical importance of early development, as well as math, language and reading development, and what families and communities can do to promote it.

Go here to read “On-Target Early Development,” for ways to support on-target early development, and actions for local leaders and families can take.

Go here to read “Early Math Development,” for actions local leaders and families can take to support children’s early math development.

Go here to read “Early Language Development,” for actions local leaders and families can take to support early language and reading development.
