COVID-19 has radically changed the lives of our students and added many more hurdles on their pathways to and through college. The question before us all as we recover from the pandemic: How can we best help students meet the new challenges and navigate the road to college and completion?
To get some answers, EdNC will host a virtual town hall on Thursday, May 20, from noon to 1:15 p.m. ET, where educators and experts will discuss ways forward. You’ll also be able to pose questions in real time.
If you’d like to participate, register and let us know if you have questions. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now. We’ll record the event in case you can’t make it.
The panelists are:
- Rachel Desmarais, president, Vance-Granville Community College
- Anthony Jackson, superintendent, Vance County Schools
- Tim Renick, executive director of Georgia State University’s new National Institute for Student Success
- Lina Bankert, partner, Bellwether Education Partners; director of the Reimagining the Road to Graduation project
