NC students: Submit your work in honor of a teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week

Hey students! Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10) is fast-approaching. In honor of a fantastic teacher in your life, please submit a piece of work that describes this teacher and how he or she has made an impact on you. You can submit work in any of the following categories:

  • Video
  • Photo
  • Drawing
  • Essay (Maximum: 1000 words)
  • Poem

We will select submissions in each category to publish online at EdNC.org during Teacher Appreciation Week in May!

 
Please take your time filling out the form correctly to ensure we don’t miss your submission!
 
Note:
  • All submissions must be turned in before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24th.
  • All North Carolina students, including private school, charter school, and home school students, are welcome to submit. No age limit.

Robert Kinlaw

Robert was director of multimedia for EducationNC. He is a journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker in the Triangle. Robert attended both public and private grade schools in North Carolina and graduated from the Media and Journalism school at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has produced video content for The News & Observer, ABC11-WTVD, UNC-Chapel Hill, The News Reporter and more.
