From Holly Springs to Winston-Salem, I had the privilege of meeting with leaders across our political spectrum yesterday. It was my first day really out and about since having surgery in December. In listening, I learn so much about our students, schools, and state. A great quote from the end of the day, “I can’t compete with a love affair, especially when it is with an entire state.” My thanks to those of you who spent time with me. Nation and I are attending the My Future NC meeting today. Mebane

The House and the Senate convene at 10am today. Alex Granados will be there to keep you updated on the class size legislation. Follow him on Twitter @agranadoster.
