A summit on military students and their educational experience is being held today in Fayetteville.  The Fayetteville Regional Educational Convening is being hosted by the Cumberland County school system and the Fayetteville Regional Chamber in partnership with the Military Child Education Coalition. 

The State Board of Education has posted its April newsletter, including an update on differentiated pay.

The House K-12 Education Committee will meet today 15 minutes after session to take up HB 660, 661, 662, and 902.  Here is EdNC’s article about this package of bills.
