Politico is reporting that “States can continue using the number of students participating in the free lunch program school to qualify for rural school grants for another year, the department announced Wednesday. The reversal follows a bipartisan letter signed by mostly Republican senators opposing the decision that would have affected funding in more than 800 rural schools.”
