Gerrymandering, school performance grades, and Dorian

The N.C. State Board of Education meets today. Here is the agenda. School performance grades will be presented.

Yesterday, a state court panel held that North Carolina’s state legislative maps are an unconstitutional partisan gerrymander. Multiple outlets are reporting that Sen. Phil Berger is saying the legislature won’t appeal the decision. Here is an article in the New York Times. Here is the decision.
