This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, a time to show gratitude for the hard work of educators across the country. From kindergarten reading circles to high school science labs, nearly 100,000 teachers work with students in North Carolina each day. This year, we asked teachers to nominate their colleagues so we could share the stories of their compassion, commitment, and dedication. Please share the profiles in our series. Teachers, thank you for all you do for our students and our state each and every day!
The myFutureNC Commission Listening Session is coming to Jacksonville next Wednesday, May 16th from 2-5pm. Please join them at Jacksonville City Hall and RSVP here. If you can’t make the listening session, our team will be hosting a gathering at Biagio’s Italian Coffee & Espresso Bar from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Food and drink will be provided. We invite you to come talk with our Reach NC Voices team, and tell us what attainment in North Carolina means to you. RSVP for the 6-7:30pm gathering here.
