The NC State Board of Education will have a closed session conference call today about the Leandro case.

On Monday, June 29 at 4 p.m., the Fordham Institute will host a discussion on turnaround school districts. Will these state-run districts, first launched in Louisiana but beginning to spread, be able to turn around failing schools? What does their growth mean for school governance? Watch the event here, and RSVP for the event here.
