In an effort to diversify the pool of young nonprofit professionals in North Carolina, the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation established the Non-Profit Internship Program (NPIP). Students, the deadline to apply for the Non-Profit Internship Program has been extended to Monday, February 17, 2020 at noon (12:00 p.m.). Spread the word and apply here.
This year, selected NC GreenPower Solar+ Schools will receive grant funds of up to $14,000 toward installation costs. In addition, awardees receive nearly $12,000 in related benefits, such as donated SunPower solar modules, a STEM curriculum and teacher training. Selected public schools will also receive up to $20,000 in additional grant funding from the State Employees’ Credit Union Foundation! Applications are due February 28: www.ncgp.org/solar-schools
