The Editor’s Notes
The amazing Dr. Bonnie Fusarelli, director and founder of NELA, is hosting a NELA Conference & Reunion on October 20-21. This year (2022) marks ten years since NELA graduated their first NELA cohort! They will kick off Thursday night with a welcome, networking, and dessert reception at the NC State Park Alumni Center from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The grads of NELA make a difference leading in our schools and our communities each and everyday. Let’s celebrate all of them!
As we head into the weekend, here is the playlist on Spotify, curated by our own mountain philosopher Superintendent Jeff McDaris.
