The Editor’s Notes
Today is the first day of school in some of our districts, including for our state Principal of the Year Donna Bledsoe at Cedar Ridge Elementary in Surry County.
She kicked off the school year with a back to school bash, welcoming students and parents with free school supplies, including socks and underwear!
If you have public school heroes you’d like us to profile this year or other ways you welcome students and parents back to school, please email me at [email protected].
Thankful for the leadership of all of you as we get ready to kick off the school year.
