New from EdNC

The Editor’s Notes
Here is EdNC’s reporting on the anti-DEI bills. Gov. Stein vetoed all three on Thursday, July 3. In his veto of SB 227, he said, “Our diversity is our strength. We should not whitewash history, ban books, or treat our teachers with distrust and disdain. Rather than fearing differing viewpoints and cracking down on free speech, we should ensure our students can learn from diverse perspectives and form their own opinions.”
The annual reports for private schools and homeschools have been posted by the N.C. Division of Non-Public Education.
