On Monday, Senate lawmakers transformed House Bill 125 into a 44-page “mini-budget” bill. Among other things, the bill includes enrollment growth funds for public schools and community colleges, authorization of step pay increases for teachers, and implementation of certain salary adjustments. The bill does not include any new pay increases. Stay tuned.
