Over the weekend on FRONT ROW with Marc Rotterman on PBS, Speaker Tim Moore, responding to a question about teacher pay, said a “pay increase, an actual raise” is in the works for teachers. “[I ] don’t want to reveal what the number is just yet, but it’s a very, pretty generous one to help out, to really deal with inflation, plus to take into account the fact that we do have this surplus,” he said.
