The Editor’s Notes
COVID-19 has added more than the usual challenges to students’ pathways to and through college. How can we best help them stay the course?
As part of our Special Report, EdNC is convening two national experts on student success and graduation pathways — Tim Renick, executive director of Georgia State University’s new National Institute for Student Success, and Lina Bankert, director of Bellwether Education’s Reimagining the Road to Graduation project— plus a community college president and superintendent who are working together to get students to and through college — Rachel Desmarais of Vance-Granville Community College and Anthony Jackson of Vance County Schools. Join us on Zoom on Thursday, May 20, from noon to 1:15 p.m. ET, as they discuss ways we can help students meet the new challenges and reach their attainment goals. If you’d like to participate, register and let us know if you have questions. You’ll also be able to pose questions in real time.
