The Editor’s Notes
Each year on May 1, we celebrate National School Principals Day. It’s an opportunity to lift up the important role principals play in the lives of their students and educators as well as in the communities they serve. It’s an opportunity for us to thank them for their leadership, dedication, commitment, and spirit. From all of us at EdNC, thank you.
We hope districts will replicate the “Principal for a Day” opportunity we first saw in Guilford and now in Winston-Salem/Forsyth so more and more local and state leaders can see what it is like to walk in the shoes of a school leader.
