The Editor’s Notes
I hope you will take some time to read and share our profile of the NC Community College President of the Year Dr. Shelley White. Since she started her presidency in 2020 — just weeks before the COVID pandemic set in — White has been willing for our team to chronicle her leadership crisis after crisis in Haywood County. We have seen her up close and personal on the good days and on the really bad days. It’s been a masterclass in leadership and change management.
Team EdNC is delighted to announce that Anna Pogarcic is headed to Emory Law School. More to come on her journey to change the world. We are proud and delighted!
