Please spread the word! The DRIVE Task Force is meeting out and about North Carolina this year tour to lift up best practices across the state for recruiting, preparing, supporting, and retaining educators of color. First stop is Edgecombe County this Thursday and Friday! At each of these visits on Thursday night there will be a networking event. Reps. Jon Hardister, R-Guilford, and Zack Hawkins, D-Durham, have scheduled a 10:30 a.m. press conference to announce the creation of the bipartisan, bicameral Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Caucus!

Deadline extended! NCDPI is recruiting educators & instructional leaders from across the state to create rubrics for the NC Portrait of a Graduate. Hours towards CEUs will be available. Work begins March 7. Apply here. Application deadline is Feb. 15.
