Shout out to Chancellor Ben Coulter and his team at WGU. This week they passed a big milestone having awarded more than 10,000 degrees in North Carolina. Did you know, according to WGU …
- 19% are from the School of Education
- 42.6% are first-generation college students
- 23.4% are affiliated with the military community (active duty, veteran, reserve, military spouse, etc.)
- 23.9% of graduates live in rural areas
- WGU has transfer agreements with 26 N.C. community colleges; 1,711 graduates transferred from a N.C. community college
