The N.C. Tribune is reporting this morning two things that are interesting to me about UNC’s Budget Request: 1) incent to retire funding: “$16.8 million reserve to induce some professors at five of the system’s 16 universities to retire;” 2) completion assistance funding: “$10.5 million request for recurring money for completion assistance programs.”
The Whole Child NC Advisory Committee, an advisory committee of the State Board of Education, will hold its quarterly meeting Thursday, Feb. 23, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the 7th floor boardroom, Education Building, 301 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh.
