Nation and I had a really inspiring visit out west yesterday, checking in with leaders from Transylvania and Henderson County Public Schools and Blue Ridge Community College and AB Tech. Relationships and communications about regional partnerships, they said, are more important than agreements. They noted that employers don’t care if students are continuing ed or curriculum students — they just want a skilled workforce. And a powerful reminder that the #1 source of information for students about career options is their family. From a cooperative and innovative high school that houses career academies and an early college to the craft beverage institute, you can share in our visit and our learning on Twitter @Mebane_Rash @NationHahn.
